The Rosemount Hotel and RTR-FM are proud to present the line-up for this year's New Year’s Eve Fiesta at Perth's favourite original music venue. Last year's show sold out early in the night so presale tickets are most certainly advised for this year!
Indie-rock faves Sugar Army (pictured above) return to the Rosemount to headline this year's party. With their new album Summertime Heavy just released, this will be the band's only headline Perth show for the rest of the year and it's sure to be a cracker.
Fresh from a jam-packed year that has seen them tour the country a bunch of times, play a 'Like A Version' session on triple j, have a Single of the Week on US iTunes, and feature album on both triple j and RTR-FM, Emperors will be in fine form for NYE and ready to cap of 2012 with a bang.
Ruby Boots have been busy, too. Releases, tours, supports and even a performance at the Americana Festival in Nashville have all been on the agenda this year, and they'll be bringing the hoe-down to this year's Fiesta.
It's hard to have any Perth music party without Boys Boys Boys!, and we're not going to start trying now. The gals and guys have been quiet of late, but that's because they've been recording their debut album in Brisbane with renowned producer Magoo. We can't wait to hear the results and their cabin fever for most of 2012 should create the perfect on-stage explosion for the Rosemount crowd on December 31st.
What better way to end the year than to hear this year's Song Of The Year winner Sleigh Bed from Rainy Day Women live. Infectious melodies and amazing harmonies will be on display not only from these guys, but also Timothy Nelson and the Infidels, who'll be fresh from completing a national tour supporting their new single.
Opening the Fiesta will be the amazing Dead Owls, a two-piece indie-rock beast who's killer songs and 'excellent guitar riffs' (to quote Homer Simpson) saw them take out top spot in the recent Ampfest competition.
All that PLUS DJ Shannon Fox spinning tunes in the Beer Garden from 8pm!
Make sure you get down early!
