Cavefire Cinema originate from Perth, Western Australia. Formed in mid-2009, the band kept a regular gigging schedule up until June 2010, when they entered the studio to record their debut album “Discipline”. “Discipline” is a 12 track full length album which was released via Firestarter Distribution on February 11th 2011 and was officially launched on the 19th February to a sell-out crowd at Mojos Bar, North Fremantle.
The album is entitled “Discipline” after a song of the same name and is the general theme of the lyrical content. Cavefire Cinema does not have a primary song writer. Each of the four members conceives, writes and performs their individual parts. In mid-2011, Regan McVeigh took over vocal duties from John Bannerman whilst continuing vocal duties for Ol Boganivillea.
