It's 2011 and British India is set to hit the ground running!
Barely two weeks into the New Year and Melbournes own are excited to announce their upcoming three month national tour to launch their brand spankin new radio single March into the Ocean.
Recognised as one of Australia's hottest young bands the "March into the Ocean tour will see British India travel the length and breadth of the country, playing all major capital cities along with a staggering 18 regional towns, rocking punters from Gippsland to Griffith, Coolangatta to Coffs Harbour and many venues in between.
The boys will then catch their breath before travelling to New Zealand for a one week tour, then continue their sojourn to Hollywood, USA to perform two showcases on the Sunset Strip. This includes a performance at the highly anticipated 'Musexpo 2011', which the band were hand-picked to play after enthusiastic staff saw them smash-out an outstanding performance at 'One Movement' event in Perth late last year.
Since the release of their third album, Avalanche, in May 2010 British Indias reputation as the 'real deal' has spread globally and generated interest internationally.
2011 will see the band take their brash and visceral live show to more international venues as they continue their long way to the top.
British India will head back to Europe in July for a four week run of dates in Germany, London, Manchester, Brighton, Glasgow, Edinburgh and Dublin, before embarking on their first tour of Japan in August.
If March seems like a long time to wait dont fret, because the new single 'March into the Ocean' will be released on Sunday 20 of February.
