HORRORSHOW (NSW)
HORRORSHOW (NSW) + Seth Sentry (VIC)
The horse that is Horrorshow’s live reputation has bolted! Their Inside Story Tour earlier this year was a smashing success, playing to over 4000 people including two sellout
Sydney shows (the first selling out 3 weeks in advance) at the Factory. The buzz around Horrorshow keeps growing: their evocative, ego-free hip-hop continues to strike a chord with a diverse and growing legion of devoted fans. They were recently featured in jmag for the tattoos fans have made out of their lyrics. After appearances supporting Hilltop Hoods in England and Germany in July, as well as a spot on the sold out Splendour in the Grass, Horrorshow will be perfectly prepared for a thrilling tour to complete an amazing run since their Inside Story album came out in 2009. In support is Melbourne’s rising star Seth Sentry, whose Waitress Song was one of 2009’s best loved tunes, coming in at #31 on triple j’s hottest 100. Fresh from an unearthed j award nomination, Seth’s debut album is now very much anticipated. See what the fuss is about tonight at the Rosemount!

GUTTERMOUTH (USA)
GUTTERMOUTH (USA) + The Decline + Ten Points For Glenroy
Last time Guttermouth visited Australia, New Noise Agency took them to the major capital cities, alongside a visit to Toowoomba's Eidican festival. These depraved genius legends of California's Punk community sold out shows, shocked newcomers and far surpassed the expectations of faithful fans. All in a day's work for one of the hardest working - and hardest living - bands in their genre. Not content with already seeing more of the country than most bands ever will, though, New Noise will be presenting the return of Guttermouth in 2010 - but not for any ordinary tour. Over an entire month, Guttermouth will be traveling to the far reaches of the Australian coast and major cities alike, as well as the band's first visit to South East Asia and their return to New Zealand. Whether a skeptic or a convert, an old fan or new, and wherever you happen to be, 2010 is your year to catch the best in the business at the top of their game. What's more, the entire epic journey is being recorded by Brisbane filmmaker Rhys Day for a forthcoming documentary! With a reputation for antics that almost overtakes their musical legacy, New Noise are excited to show the world what it's like to spend a month on the road with Guttermouth - and while you might not be able to come along for the ride, the opportunity to see them in your town has the makings of some of the most
chaotic fun you'll ever have, clothed or otherwise. Catch Guttermouth tonight at the Rosemount with special guests The Decline and Ten Points For Glenroy.

GBH (UK) + The Rumjacks
GBH (UK) + The Rumjacks
There isn't a self-respecting gutter punk, hardcore kid or subcultural miscreant alive who hasn't seen the GBH logo emblazoned on the back of a leather jacket, a denim vest, or a torn-up t-shirt. And now, Australia and New Zealand will be slapped upside the head with a timely reminder as to exactly why GBH have been the heavyweight band of the UK punk
scene for over 30 years. Fans will look forward to a fist-pumping, palace-gates-storming live show by a band who re-defined the ‘UK82’ punk sound with tracks like Sick Boy, City Baby Attacked by Rats and Time Bomb (to name a few). Their eleventh studio album (via Hellcat Records) carries the torch forward and introduces a new generation of fans to the band's trademark fury that is alternately nihilistic, optimistic, pessimistic, anarchist, violent, humorous and deadly serious all at once. After years of speculation, groundbreaking English hardcore punk band GBH will tour Australia and New Zealand on the back of their eleventh studio album, Perfume and Piss (Hellcat Records) in October 2010.

SAGE FRANCIS (USA)
SAGE FRANCIS (USA) + B. Dolan (USA) + Mathas + Thorts & Kadyelle + Delerious + DJ Silence
The reigning agent provocateur of hip hop, Sage Francis, brings his ‘Li(f)e Abroad’ tour to Australia this October with new material from his electrifying fourth album, Li(f)e. Sage Francis has never been afraid to provoke. As a result he is a sometimes polarising, increasingly important figure in modern music. Adored by many, reviled by a few but never ignored and always essential, he has developed into a fearless social critic. Sage’s fan base continues to grow outside of the hip hop community with the assistance of his influential supporters, most recently in the form of BBC1 announcer Zane Lowe. Zane has been championing ‘Best Of Times’, the lead single from Li(f)e, leading to two sold out London shows with tickets exhausted two months in advance of Sage’s arrival. Sage’s extraordinary rhyming skills are used to explore such unconventional and wide ranging topics as religion, death, mental illness and corporate greed. Like so many great songwriters before, he uses his gifted wordplay for a much greater good, creating vivid narratives and heartfelt confessionals which both instigate and inspire. With his new album, Li(f)e, he has delivered a masterfully original work. The record features notable French composer Yann Tierson, along with musicians from bands such as Califone, Sparklehorse, Calexico, Grandaddy, Death Cab For Cutie and Buck 65.
Joining Sage Francis for all shows will be his Strange Famous Records label mate, B. Dolan. This will be Dolan’s first venture to Australia, where he will not only play main support but will also collaborate with Sage on several songs throughout the evening.
“This latest, high-powered, furiously intelligent broadside casts Sage’s unforgiving gaze on organized religion. But with alternative American stalwarts from Grandaddy, Galexico, Death Cab For Cutie and the late Mark Linkous providing compositional support, this is a fascinating, wide-ranging exploration, rather than a narrowminded rant”.
4/5 Daily Mirror (UK)
"Although Francis has described himself as a "low-confidence engine" since early in his career, the rapper has produced a strong and instantly relatable album with Li(f)e." Billboard (US)

SOILWORK
SOILWORK (Sweden) + special guests
“Soilwork are one of the 25 most important bands in Metal” - Alternative Press Magazine
Sweden’s melodic death metal masters Soilwork will be ripping up Aussie shores for only the third time in October this year. Touring on the back of the release of their eighth studio album, The Panic Broadcast, which drummer Dirk Verbeuren has described as “the true musical path of Soilwork”, the band will be bringing their killer live shows that The Metal Observer have dubbed “Metal with the fun factor in the driving seat”.
In terms of Swedish metal bands, Soilwork has proven themselves as the crème de la crème, still a cut above other native Swedes such as In Flames, Meshuggah, Arch Enemy, Dark Tranquillity and The Haunted. Thom Jurek of All Music Guide writes “Their anthemic chorus’, with killer backing harmony vocals, takes Soilwork beyond most of their Swedish peers” adding that “Punters at their shows are absolute putty in singer Bjorn ‘Speed’ Strid’s hands”. Artistically empowering on stage, the band demonstrates their use of textured guitars and keyboards, instrumental sounds and pristine echoing vocals, as if letting the audience in on a secret. Because of this Soilwork’s live shows never cease to entertain and amaze, with PyroMusic describing the atmosphere of their shows as “an extremely fun mass sing-a-long with a destructive twist often leaving audiences in a pool of blood, sweat and tears”.
Jane Hawkes of Crossfire MusicZine’s review of Soilwork’s last Australian tour read “The band are immensely watchable and towards the tail end of their night, they steamroll into 'As We Speak' with a near-unbearable intensity which leaves revelers in awe. Wrapping it all up with a white hot rendition of 'Follow The Hollow' to near euphoric cheers, the wait seemed absolutely worth every minute. Amazing, all consuming stuff.”

THE NEW PORNOGRAPHERS
THE NEW PORNOGRAPHERS (Canada/USA)
In celebration of their fifth album, “Together”, Canadian-US super-collective New Pornographers are primed to make their return to Australia this November. As perfect a pop outfit as you’re ever likely to find, New Pornographers have always dreamed of finding a middle ground between Led Zeppelin & The 5th Dimension, which as it turns out is actually quite a good way of describing their mix of deceptively complex songwriting combined with glimmering hooks & arena-like power. And as Australian punters are more than aware the bright yet often bittersweet nature of what they do, including all those wonderful vocal harmonies, is an even better experience in the live setting. New Pornographers are A.C. Newman, John Collins, Kurt Dahle, Blaine Thurier, Todd Fancey, Neko Case & Kathryn Calder – catch them at the Rosemount tonight!
