History

A heritage listed building, the Rosemount Hotel was built at the time of the Gold Boom and has been a continuously licensed and operating hotel from at least 1902 providing a social meeting place and venue for the local community. Originally constructed in the Federation Filigree style of architecture and located at the intersection of Fitzgerald and Angove Streets at the beginning of the twentieth century, the Rosemount Hotel holds some historical and social value.
